ADG Office
ADG Blatt’s Oklahoma City office is located in a 1916 warehouse that began life as a Ford Motor Plant. The 12,000-square-foot office offers wide-open work and meeting space for the growing firm of architects, engineers, interior designers, urban planners and landscape architects.
Elements of the former plant have been preserved to tell the history of the Ford Motor plant that kicked off production of Model-T cars 100 years ago. Salvaged and refurbished elements include a 1915 stencil machine from which ADG Blatt adopted its brand image. Exterior windows and sliding barn doors were also repurposed in offices and conference rooms. Three central office pavilions echo train cars that once surrounded the building, while wood slats facing them reflect the crates and palettes once used for shipping and receiving car parts. In fact, the lobby’s rusted steel panels frame animated photo streams that are symbolic of the assembly line process Henry Ford used.
