Holy Spirit Catholic church

ADG Blatt designed and completed construction of the new Holy Spirit Catholic Church located in Mustang, Oklahoma. This new 18,000 square foot church’s sanctuary seats 842 people and has a planned transept that will increase its capacity to 1,300. This space helps serve rural and suburban communities outside of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. With the new construction of the sanctuary complete, the congregation was able to move from their temporary parish that was originally built and founded in 1985.

The new church is designed to merge traditional liturgical elements with clean contemporary design aesthetic to complement and heighten their original campus. The design features extensive use of glass to both let in more natural light and to help connect more with nature. In addition to the new building itself, there were significant improvements to the churches existing campus including an expansion to the church parking lot to help accommodate the growing congregation.
