Multi-housing News: JV Completes University of OK Residential Colleges

 Construction of the two residential colleges, which opened this August, started in 2015. Headington and Dunham comprise a total of 600 beds.

A partnership of KWK Architects and ADG Architects—both of Oklahoma City—has completed construction of the $75 million residential colleges Headington and Dunham at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla. This 600-bed project marks the first of its kind in Oklahoma.

LEED Silver structure

Designed by KWK Architects and ADG Architects, with Brailsford & Dunlavey handling program management, Headington and Dunham are conceived as living/learning spaces featuring amenities such as:

 

  •   faculty master apartment and office

  • private parking

  • seminar

  • conference rooms

  •   lounges

  • study areas

  • libraries

  • dining rooms

  • fitness center

Construction of Headington College and Dunham College began in 2015, with the official opening in August 2017. Headington is a LEED Silver-certified structure, with more than 110,000 square feet. The community offers one-, two- and three-bed units.
