The Oklahoman: Work begins on new University of Central Oklahoma dining center

EDMOND — Work has begun on a new campus dining center scheduled to open in spring 2020 at the University of Central Oklahoma.

The 50,000-square-foot, two-story facility will be near Hamilton Field House on the north edge of campus. The center will feature a range of serving stations, seating for more than 500 people, a private dining room, a new retail location and campus office space.

The goal is to provide students with a greater variety of meal options that are healthier and prepared fresh, said Scott Monetti, director of housing and dining at UCO.
